Why do you need my personal data?

Who is responsible for my private data?
The website and the online services associated with it are made available to you by Tehava B.V. (referred to as Tehava), based at Tomeikerweg 31, 6161 RB Geleen, and listed in the Chamber of Commerce trade register under number 140 39 487. The following policy applies with regard to protecting your privacy.

Tehava guarantees as far as possible to protect the privacy of every visitor to the website. That means we make every possible effort to safeguard your personal data.

Below you will find which personal data we process, how long we store it, whether you may view your data, and how we protect it.

What personal data do you collect about me, and why?
We collect different types of information about you. Your personal data, such as name, address, and e-mail address, and other information, such as your browsing behaviour on our website, when you logged in, and what device you have used to visit our website.

We need personal data, for example, to ensure that your orders are delivered to your home address. It can also be needed for providing you with an additional service in relation to the purchase of a product, for complying with our guarantee obligations, or for product recalls.We use other information, for example, to inform you personally about particular products, or for making special offers, personally tailored to your needs. 

We also use information for improving our products and services, for example, to help us become even more service-oriented.

Do you process special or sensitive personal data?
We make every effort not to gather the data of visitors to the website who are less than 16 years of age, unless they have the permission of their parents our guardian. Although we would like to be able to do so, we are unable to verify whether a visitor to our website is aged under 16. We therefore advise parents to involve themselves in the online activities of their children. This will prevent data about children being collected without their parents’ permission. How long do you keep my personal data?
We keep your data for a long time, but never longer than necessary for carrying out activities, unless the law obliges us to do so.

Sending newsletters.
We store your e-mail address, first name, and surname in Spotler/MailPlus. Your data is stored indefinitely. You may unsubscribe whenever you wish by using the link at the bottom of each newsletter.

Creating an account.
We store the data you entered when creating your account. We also use this data whenever you place an order. Your data is stored indefinitely. You may delete your account whenever you wish. If you send an e-mail to or phone + 31 (0) 46 763 2303, we will delete your account.

Getting in touch.
As soon as you contact us by e-mail, we store the data you send, such as your name, company and e-mail address, on our mail server. We keep e-mails for no more than two years.

Google Analytics.
With Google Analytics, you need have no worries about potentially sensitive information. The data collected on the website by Google Analytics is anonymous - that is, it cannot be linked to your name, company, or e-mail address. We retain this data in Google Analytics indefinitely.

I would like to view, alter, or delete my data.
You of course have the right to view, correct, or delete your own personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to your data being processed and to object to your personal data being processed by us, and you have the right to data portability. This means you may submit a request to us for your personal data that we hold to be sent to you in a computer file. You may send requests to view, correct, delete, or transfer your personal data, to withdraw your consent or object to your personal data being processed, to You may also do so in writing, of course. To be certain that any request to view data has actually come from you, we ask that you enclose a copy of an identity document with your request. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but at the latest in 10 working days.

How do you protect my data?

We will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
