The Cyclus Fork Tube Cutter is the perfect tool for cutting new threads on a steerer tube. Before you start, it is important to clean the fork tube thoroughly. Once the tube is clean, use the included die and attach it to the fork tube. Then you can start cutting. For best results, we recommend using a matching cutter plate (part numbers 720019 Fork cutter plate single 1'' and 720020 Fork cutter plate single 1 1/8''). In addition, always use the correct cutting oil when cutting new threads (e.g. article number: 710012 CUTTING OIL 100 ML).
